Collaboration: CCF employees have completed RJNI’s 28hr training to facilitate conferences
CCF volunteers facilitate conferences
including crime victims, offenders and their families so that the persons
directly impacted by the crime can actively participate in resolving
the consequences of the crime. CCF facilitator prepares the participants
to explore the issues and feelings that have arisen from the crime,
determining who is interested in participating, and arranging a conference
at a place and time that is convenient for all. The process empowers
victims, offenders and the community and results in a more fair and
rational response to crime.
